Good afternoon,
For our May mission, our Rock Group will be donating a
raffle basket for the Concordia pre-school Gala.
Our basket theme is “Summer Fun” so we are asking that you
donate one or more items that are fun to do/use in the summertime. Some examples are beach towels, sunscreen,
outside toys or pool toys, etc. Gift
certificates to ice cream/yoga restaurants are great too – anything you can
provide to help would be wonderful! The
Gala is May 3rd so if you would please bring your donations to
either Discovery tomorrow night or Church on Sunday we would really appreciate
it! If you won’t be at either, please
email or call and we’ll set up a meeting place/time.
Also – all Rock Groups have been asked to help with the
Snack Pack that St Peter supplies and our group has been asked to help with the
Pop-Tart supply. If you would, please
bring a box of pop-tarts to each service on Sunday’s and place in the designated
area up front to contribute to this great mission.
In addition, we have been kicking around Rock Group names
for a while and I am leaning towards “Living Second Rock Group”, please provide
any feedback or alternative suggestions you may have.
